The Commanders' 2025 opponents were 159-130 in 2024, giving them the eighth-toughest schedule in the league. Quite a difference from having the easiest schedule in 2024, which no doubt impacted their ability to make the NFC Championship game.

The same is true for the other game released. In that contest, the Eagles will come to Landover to face the Commanders at their Northwest Stadium home. It is a Saturday contest being played on December 20. That game, too, will be the only NFL game being played at that time.

The Bears will find out their full schedule at 7 p.m. Wednesday, with details likely to emerge during the course of the day. They already know two prominent games on their schedule. On Monday, the Bears learned they will play at the Eagles on Nov. 28 at 2 p.m. in Amazon Prime Video’s Black Friday game.
