Christian Horner could potentially lose as much as half of his huge Red Bull pay-out. This week, shock news emerged from the world of Formula 1 as Horner, 51, was sacked by Red Bull. It was then confirmed that Laurent Mekies had been promoted from sister team Visa Cash App Racing Bulls and will take over as team principal and CEO of Red Bull.
Christian Horner has been the figurehead at Red Bull Racing since its inception in 2005. His absence will leave a void at one of Formula One’s frontrunning teams. Horner was relieved of his duties as Red Bull F1 CEO on Wednesday in a shock announcement.

Huge news came out of Formula 1 on Wednesday as Red Bull Racing announced it had fired team principal Christian Horner after 20 years and 14 championships. Max Verstappen has become the best F1 driver in recent years, winning the last four drivers' titles, all with Horner in charge.
