LOS ANGELES — Francisco Lindor broke his finger at a hotel here in 2022 and played through it. He injured his lower back before the playoffs in 2024 and played through that, too. And now you can add broken pinkie toe to the list.

Landan Knack started for the Dodgers and did not have a good day at the office. Following a 1-2-3 first inning, Pete Alonso—fresh off hitting two homers last night—led off the top of the second with an opposite field shot to give the Mets a 1-0 lead.
