Some of those aboard the deportation flight were convicted of crimes including murder, rape, human smuggling and drug trafficking, according to a statement.

Advocates said the ICE raids are terrorizing Latino communities. LULAC President Roman Palomares criticized recent moves by President Donald Trump and Gov. Greg Abbott to deploy the National Guard, calling them politically motivated.

This month, 122 Chinese nationals identified as high risk and all living in the U.S. illegally were deported to China, put on a flight out of Dallas, ICE announced.

The group included 96 men and 26 women, from across the U.S., many with criminal convictions and final orders of removal, ICE Dallas said.

A trip that was supposed to be filled with happiness and celebration quickly took a turn for one Dallas family after they were arrested by immigration authorities.
