Miami has been at a crossroads with its $4 million venture from last winter’s portal. Carson Beck, the former Georgia QB, is showing every sign of being the future locker room leader of the Canes, filling in Ward’s shoes.

Miami has also brought in a handful of talent to help Beck, such as four-star offensive lineman James Brockermeyer (TCU), four-star wide receiver CJ Daniels (LSU), three-star wide receiver Keelan Marion (BYU) and three-star tight end Alex Bauman (Tulane).
