Luisangel Acuna has been penned into the New York Mets' lineup on Thursday afternoon as the starting shortstop against the Los Angeles Dodgers as four-time All-Star Francisco Lindor takes a seat to deal with a broken toe.

Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor broke his toe Wednesday at Dodger Stadium on a hit-by-pitch. Lindor told reporters that he intends to play through the ailment and avoid the injured list. He is not in the lineup for Thursday’s series finale against the Dodgers.
