Green is under fire from Knicks fans and more for suggesting that New York star Karl-Anthony Towns sat out of the Warriors' Tuesday visit to avoid a matchup with former Minnesota

The 29-year-old Towns, who had a beef with Butler a few years ago, was officially listed as out versus the Warriors due to "personal reasons." It was later revealed that he missed the game to be with his girlfriend, Jordyn Woods, who lost her close friend.

Karl-Anthony Towns took the high road when asked to respond to Draymond Green's comments that the New York Knicks center missed last week's game against the Golden State Warriors because of Jimmy Butler's presence.
