SUNSET BEACH, N.C. — A possible shark bite injured a swimmer Wednesday morning at Sunset Beach. Around 11:05 a.m., the Sunset Beach Fire Department received a call about a swimmer with a leg injury near the 31st Street beach access. Beach Rescue teams arrived, treated the swimmer on the scene, and confirmed the person remained conscious and alert.
