Steven Knight and Stephen Graham have reunited again for A Thousand Blows, Disney 's new boxing drama set in Victorian London. It turns out that Graham was instrumental in the initial idea behind the new show, with the Peaky Blinders boss revealing to Digital Spy what inspired the series.

The creator of 'Peaky Blinders' is back on his Victorian turf with a story of bare-knuckle boxing in East London, starring Stephen Graham, Erin Doherty and Malachi Kirby.

The inspiration for the new series, in fact, comes from an old photograph of the boxer Hezekiah Moscow, one of its actors and producers, Hannah Walters – who portrays the pragmatic Eliza Moody, the second in command of an all-female crime syndicate known as the Forty Elephants – tells TechRadar.
