El Paso felt the shaking from a 5.3 magnitude earthquake on Saturday night, part of a swarm of earthquakes that rocked the area near the Texas-New Mexico border.

The earthquake happened around 7:47 p.m. MT, nearly 35 miles west of Whites City, New Mexico, about 149 miles from El Paso.
