Texas Instruments is investing more than $60 billion across seven semiconductor fabs, a move that the Dallas-based company says will help its customers, such as Apple and SpaceX, achieve technological breakthroughs.

Texas Instruments plans to invest over $60 billion in semiconductor manufacturing facilities to strengthen the domestic supply chain and support the Trump administration‘s goal of increasing U.S. chip production.

The investment is poised to funnel funding into fabrication plants already underway, as well as two previously unannounced sites in Texas.
