BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF) — Dozens of cars continue to be stolen across the Baltimore region every day – leaving a trail of car owners dealing with insurance headaches and transportation logistics.
More than 300 auto thefts were reported in the City of Baltimore in October 2022. A car is stolen every 49 minutes in Maryland, according to officials.
“It is just unnecessarily unsafe,” said Willsey. According to the Baltimore Police Department’s (BPD) crime map, this year alone, more than 1,600 cars have been broken into or stolen.
