The Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers were honored by President Donald Trump at the White House on Monday afternoon. Gathered in the East Room of the White House, most of the 2024 championship team were in attendance with owner Vinnie Viola and captain Sasha Barkov escorting the President into the ceremony.

The Panthers won their first Stanley Cup in the franchise’s 30th season, with their run capped by beating the Edmonton Oilers in seven games after nearly blowing a 3-0 series lead in the Stanley Cup Final.

More than seven months after the Florida Panthers won their first Stanley Cup, the team visited the White House on Monday, during which President Donald Trump recounted "one of the most riveting comebacks in NHL history.
