BOSTON -- One of the most legendary tournaments in hockey is set to write a new chapter on Monday night, as the Boston University Terriers take on the Harvard Crimson in the first of two semifinals in the annual Beanpot.

Monday night is the start of the 72nd Beanpot Tournament in Boston, when BC will take on Northeastern and NU will play Harvard at TD Garden. Northeastern has won two straight and five of the last six.

Northeastern will look to three-peat as it won the event in 2023 and 2024 while Boston College will look to win its first Beanpot since 2016. The two teams are knotted at one game apiece in the head-to-head matchup this season.
