With the Chicago Cubs on the verge of clinching a playoff spot for the first time in five years, the team’s postseason ticket lottery is now open.
With the magic number in grasp, the Cubs opened presale registration playoff tickets on Monday. Registration opened up at 10 a.m. and lasts through Oct. 3. However, fans must register by Sept. 23 at noon to be eligible for tickets to the Wild Card round.
Fans who are at least 18 can register at www.cubs.com/postseason to join the pool to win access to a limited number of select postseason tickets at Wrigley Field. Those chosen in the random drawing will receive an email with purchase instructions, and the tickets will be distributed through the MLB Ballpark app.
