The Lakers follow up their trade for Luka Dončić by adding talented young center Mark Williams from the Hornets.

The Hornets were the ones that called and asked if the Lakers would be interested in a Mark Williams-for-Dalton Knecht swap, per ESPN's Ramona Shelburne. Doncic wanted a play with a lob threat, so the team sacrificed shooting for size.
