Two teams hoping to finish the season strong collide when the Iowa State Cyclones host the Kansas Jayhawks in what should make for a thrilling Big 12 tilt today.

Michigan State (3-7 overall, 0-7 Big Ten) is nearing one of its final chances this year to get a conference victory. The Spartans are matched up against Iowa (6-4, 4-3), with MSU trying to keep its losing streak from reaching eight. Iowa has lost its last two games to current CFP No. 7 Oregon and No. 15 USC.

Mark Gronowski rallied the troops just in time. After a Stevens field goal early in the fourth brought Iowa within a touchdown, Gronowski hit Jacob Gill for a 13-yard score in the back corner of the north end zone with 1:29 left. Following another defensive stop, the Hawkeyes got the ball back with 41 seconds left and went to work.
