Microsoft is giving away SharePoint Designer 2007, an entry level application customization tool that previously cost $299.95, in order to get more customers innovating on the SharePoint platform.

Showing its SharePoint heritage, I easily revised the search interface’s appearance using Microsoft SharePoint Designer without rewriting any code.
