Coming off their bye week, the Lions headline our NFL Playoff Power Rankings, as they face the Washington Commanders at home in their Divisional Round matchup. Having earned the right to be the NFC’s top seed by defeating the Minnesota Vikings in Week 18, the Lions entered the postseason on a high note.

The most talented team doesn't always win the Super Bowl, and you should never count the Kansas City Chiefs out.  Against my better judgment last year, I tabbed the Chiefs as the NFL's fourth-best remaining team ahead of the divisional round of the playoffs.

They are here because of inconsistent play in the second half of the season. They looked strong against the Los Angeles Chargers in the wild-card round. But the Chargers aren't exactly a postseason force.

The Houston Texans completely silenced the Chargers’ offense, sacked quarterback Justin Herbert four times, and nabbed FOUR interceptions off of him during their wildcard game.
