All week there has been a projected 90% chance of rain in Seattle. The biggest move in the betting market has been on the game total, dropping from an opener of 45.5 all the way down to 42 now. I was lucky enough to identify this in my Tuesday article and recommend an under 44.5.

The Los Angeles Rams will face perhaps their toughest test of the year in a rematch against the Seattle Seahawks.

For those who have grown accustomed to Thursday Night Football in December bringing meaningless matchups between the likes of the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars or the like, this week the game features the only two teams in the NFC with 11 wins in the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams.

This matchup will be the first time a Thursday Night Football game will feature two teams that have won 11 games. This game will also be huge, considering that the NFC West Division and the NFC’s #1 seed overall is on the line.

As if this game needed a further testimonial as to its gravitas, the Rams (+310) and the Seahawks (+650) are currently the two favorites to win the Super Bowl (the Broncos sit third at +850). Each is 8-1 in their last nine games.

The Detroit Lions are heading to Southern California to take on the NFC-leading Los Angeles Rams in a game that could have NFC playoff implications.
