Today, Texas Dept. of Public Safety Troopers & Special Agents are deployed to assist President Trump’s Homeland Security Investigations in targeting and removing illegal immigrants.

The latest deployment, Abbott noted, brings the number of state troopers in Austin to 130. The governor’s announcement comes a day after the city suspended its partnership with Texas DPS.
