As a result of the deal, CoreWeave says it will gain access to more than a gigawatt of data center capacity — enough energy to power more than 850,000 homes.

CoreWeave’s CEO said the acquisition will enhance the company’s performance and expertise as they "continue helping customers unleash AI’s full potential."

Earlier this month, CoreWeave became the first cloud provider to deploy a GB300 NVL72 system (pictured). It’s an AI appliance based on the Blackwell Ultra, Nvidia’s newest and most advanced graphics card. The chip can run some workloads 50% faster than the earlier Blackwell B200.
