Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt and his family are grieving the loss of a young family member who died in the Texas floods. Janie Hunt, 9, was at Camp Mystic in Hunt, Texas, when tragedy struck over the weekend.

Flash floods in Texas have killed nearly 90 people, many of them children. Heavy rains fell quickly in the predawn hours Friday in the Texas Hill Country, causing the Guadalupe River to rise 26 feet in just 45 minutes.

Camp Mystic, according to the Texas Tribune, has hosted the daughters of former governors, a president, and other politicians through summers. Rep. August Pfluger of Texas revealed his daughters were staying at the camp and had been evacuated and reunited with their family following the deadly flooding.
