The election results are unofficial until certified by the Davidson County Election Commission. Results from most precincts have been counted for Nashville's May 5 Democratic primary, but it's still too early to call several close races for judge and clerk positions.

The Lorain City School District passed its new levy, with 51.3% of voters saying “yes.” As FOX 8 previously reported, the issue is 11-mill continuing levy for the school district’s current expenses. Meanwhile, the Norton City School District’s levy failed with 59.1% of voters saying “no.”
Amy Acton, who won the uncontested Democratic primary in the Ohio governor’s race, said during a victory speech that she was running to make the state more affordable again.
