Bay FC has announced that it has bought out the contract of midfielder Deyna Castellanos, making her a free agent after one season with the club.

The Portland Thorns have signed Venezuelan international Deyna Castellanos through 2026 with a club option for 2027.

Deyna Castellanos, who signed a $1 million deal just a year ago, will depart Bay FC for free agency after agreeing to a buyout. Castellanos and Bay FC mutually agreed to the buyout, making Castellanos an NWSL free agent.
