Jack Del Rio, 61, resigned from his position as senior adviser to Wisconsin head coach Luke Fickell after being arrested for operating while intoxicated.

Wisconsin football has experienced significant coaching staff turnover since the conclusion of the 2024 football season. Or, more specifically, dating back to Nov. 17.

Luke Fickell’s first two seasons as Wisconsin’s head coach have not gone as planned. The team is 12-13 overall, anchored by a 5-7 2024 campaign that saw the program miss a bowl game for the first time since 2001.

Wednesday, the Badgers head coach announced Guiton as the team’s new quarterback’s coach. Guiton spent the 2024 season, his first with UW, as the receivers coach but coached the quarterbacks and receivers for the final two games after the firing of Phil Longo, who served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

Scott Power, who spent the 2024 season as Lance Taylor's Western Michigan defensive coordinator, is again on the move, sources tell FootballScoop. Power, also a former Louisiana Tech defensive coordinator, is headed to Luke Fickell's Wisconsin staff, sources tell FootballScoop, as a defensive assistant.
