OpenAI's planned purchase of Windsurf has been cancelled, with Windsurf's CEO Varun Mohan and co-founder Douglas Chen now joining Google DeepMind.

At the same time, most of Google’s Gemini-powered tools are still free on Samsung devices. New Gemini-powered tools are also free for the next six months for early buyers of the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7.
