AeroVironment and NASA's JPL have shown off a wild concept for deploying six helicopters above the surface of Mars.

Crew-11 will launch from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida on July 31 atop a Falcon 9 rocket, if all goes to plan.

The helicopters will scout the Martian surface to help prepare for a human landing on the Red Planet.
