Karlyn Pickens and Peyton Tanner made Tennessee softball history. They became the first Lady Vol pitchers to throw no-hitters in the same day since 2006.

Tennessee had opportunities to score more throughout the game despite the lack of hits. In the third inning, Ella Dodge and Saviya Morgan reached and advanced to second on a bunt. A strikeout and line out ended the inning without the Lady Vols extending their lead.

The Blue Devils traveled to Knoxville, Tenn., to take on the Volunteers and left without touching home in a 1-0 loss.
