Syria’s armed Bedouin clans on Sunday announced that they had withdrawn from the southern city of Sweida following over a week of clashes, as per a U.S.-brokered ceasefire agreement.

Syria's Bedouin tribes said they withdrew from the Druze-majority city of Sweida on Sunday, following a US-brokered ceasefire declaration announced a day prior. Their withdrawal comes after days of clashes that began last Sunday between Druze militias and Sunni Bedouin tribes in Sweida,

Syrian government troops have cleared Bedouin fighters from the city of Sweida and declared an end to deadly clashes that killed at least 260 people over the past week.
