Shakya Akhtar is Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Bhabani’s daughter. She graduated from Lancaster University in England in 2023.

Shakya is the elder daughter of Farhan and his ex-wife, Adhuna Bhabani. They divorced in April 2017. In 2022, Farhan married Shibani Dandekar.
