This year's North Dakota State Fair set an attendance record despite bad weather that impacted some grandstand entertainment.

Bozeman Police Chief Jim Veltkamp told Great Falls officials in an email that fireworks calls have gone down a bit and that the city is still working to educate residents about a relatively new rule.
