Following a report by NPR that said the Trump administration is working on a deal with Oracle and other investors to take over TikTok in the US, Trump has denied any talks with Oracle but says he has “spoken to many people about TikTok” and may make a decision in the next month,

Oracle would run TikTok’s global operations while Microsoft is in talks to invest, according to NPR.

The proposed TikTok deal suggests ByteDance would retain a minority interest while Oracle would manage the apps algorithm, data collection, and software updates.
