DETROIT -- The Detroit Tigers erupted for nine runs in a wild third inning, punctuated by Riley Greene’s “Little League home run,” and rolled to a 14-2 win over the Boston Red Sox in Monday night’s series opener at Comerica Park. The Tigers (27-15) scored 11 runs in the first three innings, the first time they’ve done so since Sept. 8, 2008.
