Lawyers for four former housekeepers of Smokey Robinson filed a lawsuit against the singer and his wife on Tuesday.

A lawyer for Smokey Robinson said his legal team would ask a judge to dismiss the 'vile' and 'false' sexual assault allegations against the Motown singer filed by four former housekeepers on Tuesday.

Christopher Frost said in a statement shared with The Hollywood Reporter that he would "fiercely defend" Robinson and his wife, Frances Robinson, who was also named as a defendant in the suit.
