A total of 13 Connecticut residents were arrested in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol and some of them may receive a pardon when Donald Trump takes office.

Anthony Vo told The Toronto Sun that he was "pretty much 99% sure" that Trump will pardon him once he takes office on Jan. 20.

The disturbing incident unfolded in front of the Ulysses S. Grant Memorial just before 5:30 p.m. – at the same time Trump, 78, was arriving at the Capitol Building.

"On January 20th, the flags at the Capitol will fly at full-staff to celebrate our country coming together behind the inauguration of our 47th President, Donald Trump," the Louisiana Republican said in a statement. "The flags will be lowered back to half-staff the following day to continue honoring President Jimmy Carter."

Former President Jimmy Carter died Sunday, Dec. 29, at 100 years old. His death came just over a year after the death of his wife of 77 years, Rosalynn Carter.
