German carmaker BMW reported a modest increase in second-quarter deliveries on Thursday, as growing demand in Europe offset a slump in China, with the U.S. market showing resilience.

BMW Group's top execs, including CEO Oliver Zipse, Chief Technology Officer Frank Weber and head of sales Jochen Goller, attended the meeting, which featured a performance by rapper Snoop Dogg.

Total Cadillac sales in the U.S. market fell one percent to 38,455 units during Q2 2024, while BMW sales rose four percent to 91,237 units to outpace Cadillac more than twofold.

BMW did not specify model performance in China but said global sales of its Rolls-Royce limousines fell 16%, while its MINI brand suffered a 25% drop.
