The Atmospheric River and Park Fire combined to create flooding last week when there was no grass or brush on the foothills to slow the rain and allow it to seep into the soil, thanks to the fire.

A professional bull rider was gored in the neck by the bull he was riding during a rodeo in Tampa, Florida. NBC News' Marissa Parra spoke to the rider about his near death experience.
