Historic Hills Scenic Byway Bale Trail is now open, featuring whimsical hay and straw sculptures along a 105-mile route through five southeastern Iowa counties.

The half marathon, 10k and 5k support the Port Oneida Rural Historic District within Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.
