Local sled dog racers are gearing up to bring their dogs back onto the snowy tails, after the 2024 season that confined them to the dry land circuit. Mushers say the sport is growing statewide.
The folks at River Fever Mushing in the Thousand Islands are hosting a meet and greet at Wellesley Island on Saturday to show kids and parents what it takes to run a dog sled team.
