A Flash Flood warning is in effect for Harris, Liberty, and Chambers County as strong storms roll into the Houston-area.

The NWS Fort Worth TX issued a flood warning at 4:26 p.m. on Wednesday valid from Thursday 1 p.m. until Friday 1 a.m. for Collin County.

Flooding could remain a concern for several states currently dealing with the excessive rainfall. According to the NWS Climate Prediction Center's six- to 10-day precipitation outlook, Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas have a slight chance of above-normal precipitation.

At 2:33 p.m. on Tuesday, the National Weather Service issued a flood advisory in effect until 5:45 p.m. for Mobile County.
