Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the person killed in a Sunday night apartment building fire in Wadena, Minnesota as 68-year-old David Henrichs. Wadena County Sheriff’s Office says no foul play is suspected in Henrichs’ death.

Officials say one person is dead and a dozen others are displaced after a fire late Sunday night at a Wadena apartment.

WADENA, MINN. – Wadena authorities have confirmed one resident died in an apartment fire.

Gov. Tim Walz issued an executive order authorizing the National Guard to provide temporary shelter for the displaced residents.

In addition to leaving a man dead, the fire displaced a dozen others who had been living in the apartment building.
