The president of basketball operations said he's a "big fan" of the soon-to-be new majority owner of the team.

Chisholm’s group agreed to purchase the Celtics’ majority stake from Wyc Grousbeck for a valuation of $6.1 billion in March, making it the richest sale of a franchise in North American sports history at the time. The sale of the Lakers broke that record in June, with Mark Walter purchasing the team for a valuation of $10 billion.

Horford has been heavily linked to the Warriors on the open market as Golden State star Stephen Curry also hinted as much recently. Per The Athletic’s Anthony Slater, Curry sounds optimistic about Horford joining the Warriors for next season. “He’s a champion, great player,” Curry said. “When…if, when all that stuff happens, I’ll talk about it.”
