Fendrix is also scoring Lanthimos next new film titled Bugonia, which also stars Emma Stone - it will premiere at the 2025 Venice Film Festival and open in theaters later this fall.

Lanthimos previously directed Stone in Poor Things, Kinds of Kindness, and the forthcoming Bugonia, while Fendrix wrote the score for all three projects.

Bugonia release date is finally confirmed. Emma Stone’s eerie sci-fi thriller will arrive in theaters sooner than fans expected.

But “No Other Choice” faces some tough competition for Venice’s top prize, Yorgos Lanthimos‘ “Bugonia” and Kathryn Bigelow‘s “A House Of Dynamite” among them. Never count out Park Chan-wook, though.
