On Monday, College Football Playoff executive director Rich Clark announced that Nebraska athletic director Troy Dannen and longtime administrator Jeff Long have officially joined the CFP Selection Committee. Dannen is still relatively new in Lincoln, entering just his second year with the Cornhuskers.

Troy Dannen will replace Damon Evans, who recently became the athletic director at Southern Methodist University.

The College Football Playoff deliberations will have a Nebraska voice in the room beginning next season. Athletic Director Troy Dannen was appointed to the CFP selection committee.
