A tenth victim has died as a result of injuries sustained in a fire an assisted-living facility in Fall River, Massachusetts.

Former employees feared disaster at Gabriel House, where wheelchair users were trapped for months by broken elevators and no fire drills were conducted in years.

The mayor of Fall River said only two people were working at the Gabriel House in Fall River when a fire broke out Sunday night, killing nine residents​ at the assisted living facility.
