Snack brand giant Mondelez is suing grocery chain Aldi, alleging that the grocer’s store-brand snacks “blatantly” copied Mondelez packaging.

Mondelez International, a corporate giant behind the name-brand versions of many snacks, contends that Aldi is mimicking its packaging to dupe customers.

Mondelez food company alleges Aldi "blatantly copies" distinctive packaging of its most popular snacks, including Oreo, Wheat Thins and Chips Ahoy!.
