Sherpa Kami Rita first reached the summit of Mount Everest in 1994, and he's now made the arduous trek to the top more than anyone else in the world.

Lumping his 31 feats together, Kami Rita Sherpa has climbed nearly 90,000 feet above sea level on the famous peak — about 170.5 miles above sea level, or equivalent to Earth's upper atmosphere.

Nepali climber Kami Rita Sherpa, 55, dubbed ‘Everest Man’, reached the peak of the world’s highest mountain for a record 31st time on Tuesday, more than three decades after his first summit when he first stood on the top of Mount Everest in 1994 while working for a commercial expedition.
