The Boston Red Sox recently had to make a change in the infield. Boston lost first baseman Triston Casas to a serious knee injury and it seems likely at this moment that he's not going to be back this year.

Casas suffered the injury while running to first after hitting a slow roller up the first-base line in the second inning of Boston's 6-1 win over the Minnesota Twins on Friday. He fell awkwardly and was carted off the field before he was eventually hospitalized.

The Red Sox announced on Sunday that Triston Casas underwent surgery to repair a torn patellar tendon at Mass. General Hospital.
