TV Show Bloopers on Instagram: "During a Saturday Night Live “Weekend Update” joke swap segment in December 2024, Scarlett Johansson’s husband, comedian and SNL co‑anchor Colin Jost, was scripted to deliver a risqué line at her expense that referenced roast beef as a crude metaphor after they had their child — a joke written by his co‑host Michael Che. The line “I’ve been eating roast beef every night since my wife had the kid” drew a visible shocked reaction from Johansson backstage, where she

🤣🤣 The lady reacting is Colin Jost’s wife, Scarlett Johansson. This is a portion of SNL’s Weekend Update where the anchors write jokes for each other and read them unprepared on live TV. So, these lines are almost certainly written by Jost’s partner Michael Che, who is African American, thus the dialect used here by Jost. 😆 #snl #weekendupdate #sketchcomedy #colinjost #michaelche #scarlettjohansson #roastbeef #costco #sandwich | The Real Keith James | Musician
